Lada 1117 station wagon (Lada Kalina) - serial production of the model began in 2007, and in 2009 the Kalina family was modernized. ABS, front airbags, and air conditioning became available for the car. The trunk volume of the station wagon is 350 liters (when loaded to the shelf, if you remove it, you get 500 liters) - more than hatchback (235 l), but less than sedan (400 l). Nevertheless, a large opening paired with a folded rear sofa make the Lada 1117 the most practical car of the family, ready to take both long and bulky loads into the hold. For convenience, a handle is provided on the inside of the tailgate.

For the station wagon, two gasoline engines are provided: a 1.6-liter “eight-valve” (81 hp, 120 Nm) and a 1.4-liter “sixteen-valve” (89 hp, 127 Nm). Both engines are paired with an exclusively manual five-speed gearbox. A smaller but more powerful engine makes Kalina both more dynamic and economical. But the peak torque of the 1.4-liter engine reaches only 4,200 rpm, while the 1.6-liter unit develops maximum traction already at the bottom (2,500-2,700 rpm) and is less demanding on quality gasoline.

The model is offered in three trim levels: "Standard", "Norma" and "Lux". In the top version, ABS, an airbag for the driver and passenger are added to the basic equipment.

At the beginning of March 2013, the model was discontinued, so dealers are now selling off stock. In the near future, the car will be replaced by the second generation Lada Kalina, available in hatchback and station wagon bodies.
